Our Mechanicsville Marlins swim team is a member of the Greater Richmond Aquatic League.  (www.gralva.com)  Youth, ages 5 to 18, develop a sense of sportsmanship, leadership, and cooperation as they compete with those of similar age and abilities.  Many former members have gone on to lifesaving and swimming instruction, as well as earned college scholarships in this rewarding sport. 

2009 Schedule

• April 26 - Ice Cream Social Membership meeting at the MRA building (This will include swim team                 registration and voting for team logos)  Check out our flyer!

• May 17 - GRAL Meeting from 5PM until 10PM at the MRA Recreation Building.

• June 10 – Home v. Milestone  - WILL BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO SCHOOL SCHEDULES

• June 17 – Away v. Ashcreek
• June 24 – Away v. Kings Charter
• July 1 – Home v. Pebble Creek

• July 8 – Home v. Ashland

• July 14 – Away v. Milestone

The Spring Swim Clinic will be available for returning swimmers only.

It is to be held this year at Northside YMCA rather than Chickahominy due to expense and availability

The dates for this clinic are: (Sundays) March 22, March 29, April 19, April 26, May 3, & May 17th

There will be two Sessions will be offered – 2-3PM & 3-4PM. The cost is $25.00 per swimmer for the six weeks, Swimmers will need to specify which session they would like to attend.
